Storm Update 3-8-18 4pm
Village of Croton-on-Hudson E-Notice

This is an update on yesterday’s storm.  The heavy snow brought quite a lot of damage to our area and we have a substantial number of road closures and outages.  It is difficult to assess the full extent of our outages because the Con Ed outage map is not accurate.

We have not had a Con Ed crew assigned to us as yet but we are fairly confident that one is arriving shortly and will work tonight to clear the road closures.  We cannot expect to see any restoration until tomorrow at the earliest.  There are still a number of homes who have been out of power since the previous storm.

If you have not already done so we ask that you email us at bhealy@crotononhudson-ny.gov or call 914-271-4848 with information about your outage.  Calls will be returned in the morning.  All new outages should be reported directly to Con Edison.  If you are experiencing an emergency please call 911.

Please remember that downed wires are dangerous and must be avoided.

The Community Room in the Stanley H. Kellerhouse Municipal Building, located at 1 Van Wyck Street, remains open as a warming/charging station.

As a reminder, all recycling will be picked up tomorrow.

The village will continue to provide updates as new information is received. Residents are encouraged to "like" the official Facebook page to receive the latest news:~https://www.facebook.com/CrotonGov/.
