Bicycle/Pedestrian Commitee Public Outreach Meeting
Croton-on-Hudson Bicycle/Pedestrian Planning Committee
Public Outreach Meeting
to be held Sept. 28th, 8 PM at the Municipal Building, One Van Wyck St.
• Are you satisfied with the current street crossings and routes our children take to school?
• Would you like safer passage walking or bicycling to the train station?
• Are there places in Croton you'd like to see improved hiking and neighborhood access?
• Would you like to see bicycle racks in the village shopping areas?
Come provide input and suggestions for a Village-wide Master Plan for Bicycle and Pedestrian Access Improvements!
Your suggestions for improving bicycle and pedestrian access in Croton—for schools, commuting, neighborhood connections, recreation—are sought as we prepare a long range advisory plan. We want to hear from you regarding problematical locations and specific issues and opportunities related to sidewalks, crosswalks, bike lanes, greenways, public education, school access, bike racks, bike parking facilities, commuter and public transportation access, bicycle or pedestrian hazards, enforcement, economic development, regulations and whatever other issues and recommendations you have. If you can’t make the meeting, written suggestions can be mailed to the Village of Croton-on-Hudson, c/o BPC Comments, One Van Wyck St., Croton-on-Hudson, 10520.
With your input, we can formulate a strategic plan for the Village’s sidewalks and roadways related to bicycles and pedestrians. Working together, we can achieve greater connectivity through safe access!
