From the Croton Community Blood Program
Village of Croton-on-Hudson E-Notice

Mother Nature delivered a hard blow to our blood supply...the blizzard came on top of lower-than-needed holiday collections. The Sunday'Monday snowstorm resulted in a loss of over 1,000 pints of blood in our area because of canceled drives. The need for blood is constant. The shelf life of red blood cells is only 42 days.

The good news is that you can be a HOLIDAY HERO!
An emergency blood drive has been scheduled for
from 2 pm to 8 pm
(Wayne Street and Benedict Blvd. in Croton on Hudson)

No appointments needed - come at your convenience - bring a friend

All donors will receive a special long sleeve t-shirt with our thanks.
For information, call 271-7645 or write
Please pass the word to friends and family members to let them know about the critical need for blood.

Best wishes for a Happy New Year from the Community Blood Program Committee!
