Media Advisory - Local State of Emergency
Village of Croton-on-Hudson E-Notice
Village of Croton-on-Hudson media advisory August 29, 2011 as of 1pm.

The Village of Croton-on-Hudson has extended the Local State of Emergency until Friday, September 2, at 6 pm.

The following facilities including all Croton River facilities remain closed until further notice:

Senasqua Park
Senasqua Boat Basin
Croton Landing Park
Croton Landing Boat Launch
Black Rock Park
Silver Lake Beach and Recreation Area
Mayo’s Landing
Echo Canoe Launch
Sunset Street Park
Duck Pond Park
Kaplans Pond
Elliott Way
Pedestrian Bridge over Route 9

In addition the County has closed Croton Gorge Park on Rte 129.

The following facilities are now open:

Croton-Harmon Train Station
Croton Sailing School
Harrison Street Playground
Dobbs Park

When each facility is inspected and deemed safe for public use, it will be opened.  See Village website for updated list as facilities are opened.
