Author and landscape architect Carolyn Summers explains how native plants support a healthy, biodiverse landscape.  Carol will reveal the full garden design potential of northeastern indigenous flora including how to minimize harm from exotic and invasive plants and how to substitute native plants into a wide variety of garden styles. ~~

Identifying Local Invasive Plants & Removal Techniques

Bob works with Vinecutters, a volunteer organization whose mission is to remove invasive vines and plants throughout Westchester. He will present a primer for identifying many local invasives and explain removal techniques. You are welcome to bring bagged samples of plants for identification.
