Village of Croton-on-Hudson E-Notice


Westchester’s 2014 Earth Day Event is coming to Croton Point Park on Sunday, May 18th, rain or shine.

Admission and parking are free at the park for this event only. 

There will be a compost bin and rain barrel sale, a mix of kid friendly live music and entertainment, environmental exhibits, a local farmers market, and free raffles to win great prizes, including a mulching mower and bicycles.

The Mobile Shredder will also be present to shred residents’ confidential documents, first come, first serve.

A highlight of the day’s festivities will be the presentation of the county’s Earth Day Awards.

This event is sponsored again by County Executive Robert P. Astorino, the Department of Environmental Facilities, the Parks Department and the Friends of Westchester County Parks.

Croton Point Park is a 508-acre park situated on a peninsula on the east shore of the Hudson River. The park’s address is 1A Croton Point Ave, Croton-on-Hudson, NY 10520 - located on the Croton Point Ave Exit off Route 9 in Croton-on-Hudson.
