The Village is seeking qualified individuals for an ad hoc Committee to study potential uses for the property at 1300 Albany Post Road.

In July 2014, the Village of Croton-on-Hudson was notified that it is the beneficiary of property at 1300 Albany Post Road, formerly the residence of the late Mrs. Laurel Gouveia. The property is approximately 15 acres of both woods and open lawn area with a small pond. A glass windowed house of approximately 2000 square feet of living space is also included.
The Board is assembling an ad hoc committee to provide a report with information on appropriate potential uses for the property, which may include both revenue and non-revenue producing uses. We anticipate the Committee would meet for a period of four to six months to prepare and deliver its findings to the Village.
To that end, the Board is requesting interested persons to submit a letter to the Village including name, contact information and relevant experience or expertise in assessing the potential uses of the property.
Relevant areas might include, but are not limited to, the following: small event planning, corporate event planning, outdoor entertainment (art and music), outdoor education, recreation programming, senior activities, property management, landscape maintenance, and related topics.
