Update Regarding Proposed Treatment of Hydrilla in the Croton River
Village of Croton-on-Hudson E-Notice

The Water Control Commission (WCC) has held 3 public meetings (March 7, March 22, and April 5) to address the proposed application by the NYS DEC to treat the growing Hydrilla problem in the Croton River.

The NYC DEP is also aware of the need to treat Hydrilla in the Croton Reservoir and is in the process of addressing it.

The next public meeting of the WCC will be held on Wednesday, April 19, at 7:30 P.M. in the Stanley H. Kellerhouse Municipal Building where members of the WCC and the Village's consultant from the Chazen Companies will be in attendance.  The public is welcome to attend this meeting and the WCC is prepared to answer questions from the community regarding the project.

This meeting will also be televised.
