The 2007 Arbor Day Tree Planting took place on Wednesday, April 25th on Grand Street in front of Saint Augustine's Church. The Village chose to plant a Cleveland Pear. An arborist from the DEC awarded the Village with a flag commemorating the Village's 23rd year as a Tree City USA. A group of preschoolers from Children's Space helped DPW workers plant the tree.
