The Croton-on-Hudson Auxiliary Police Association is currently recruiting new members.
Do you have a few hours a month to volunteer? Would you like to experience the pride and satisfaction of serving the community and working in law enforcement? Consider joining the Auxiliary Police. Be part of the solution.
Help protect the safety and security of our community at local events. The Auxiliary Police Association supplies:
Traffic control and road closures at the Harry Chapin Memorial Run |
Traffic control at school dances |
Vehicular and foot patrols on Halloween |
General Traffic and Crowd Control at large events |
Vehicular and pedestrian traffic control at Summerfest, community fairs, bazaars and special events |
|
No experience in law enforcement is necessary. The Croton Police Department sponsors our training, 40 hours of police training course given at the County Police Academy in Valhalla and additional training in traffic/crowd control, personal defense, prisoner restraint, first aid, and radio communications.
We welcome inquires about our Association and the services we provide.
