August 20, 1997
A special meeting of the Village Board was called for August 20, 1997 at 7:30PM.
Present for the meeting were:

Mayor Elliott                           Richard Herbek
Trustee Gallelli                        Kary Ioannou
Trustee Grant                           Joe Sperber
Trustee Watkins                 Richard Johnson
                                        Peter Anfiteatro
                                        Tex Dinkler

At this meeting Robert Fullan of the firm of Schardt and Fullan on Long Island reviewed with the Board three design schemes of proposed firehouse modifications. After extensive discussion Mr. Fullan agreed to fine-tune the proposals and to provide an more complete report to the Village Board in the Fall.

David Snyder of the law firm of Snyder and Snyder, representing Sprint Spectrum, reviewed with the Board their proposal to install a 125 foot monopole on the Poritzky property at 380 Albany Post Road. Other representatives of Sprint Spectrum were present and participated in the presentation. After much discussion Mr. Snyder indicated that their formal application would be forthcoming.

Other matters discussed were the enforcement of the Village Code with respect to cross connection control devices, the hiring of a part-time fire inspector to supplement the efforts of the Village Engineer’s office, the windows in the Municipal Building and the Village Cottage at Black Rock. No action was taken on any of these matters.

The following resolution was moved by Trustee Gallelli, seconded by Trustee Grant and approved by all.

Resolved: that the Mayor is hereby authorized to sign the Grant of Conservation Easement and Declaration of Restrictive Covenants for the Arrow Crest Subdivision which was required as a condition of subdivision approval for the Arrow Crest property.

A copy of the agreement is attached to these minutes.
