A Special Meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton-on-Hudson, NY was held on April 27, 1998 at the Municipal Building, Van Wyck Street, Croton-on-Hudson, NY 10520. At that time, the following officials were present:
Mayor Elliott Trustee Daubney
Village Manager Herbek Trustee McCarthy
Village Attorney Waldman Trustee Watkins
Deputy Treasurer Sickenius
Absent: Trustee Grant
Call to Order:
The meeting was called to order at 8:00 PM by Mayor Elliott.
Setting Parking Fees
Trustee Daubney entered a motion to approve the following resolution, seconded by Trustee Watkins and carried by a vote of 3 to 0 with Trustee McCarthy abstaining.
Placing Past Due Receivables on Tax Bills for FY 1998-1999
The following resolution was moved by Trustee Watkins, seconded by Trustee Daubney and carried by a unanimous vote of 4 to 0.
Budget Adoption Resolution
The following resolution was moved by Trustee Daubney, seconded by Trustee Watkins and carried by a unanimous vote of 4 to 0.
Tax Warrant
The following resolution was approved on a motion entered by Trustee McCarthy, seconded by Trustee Daubney and carried unanimously by a vote of 4 to 0.
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor is hereby authorized to sign a Tax Warrant for the collection of taxes for the period beginning July 1, 1998 through February 1, 1999.
Executive Session
Trustee Watkins moved to go into executive session to discuss a matter of threatened litigation. The motion was seconded by Trustee Daubney and approved unanimously by a vote of 4 to 0. No actions were taken in executive session.
Adjournment
There being no further formal business to come before the Board, the meeting duly adjourned at 10:30 PM on a motion entered by Trustee McCarthy, seconded by Trustee Watkins and carried unanimously by a vote of 4 to 0.
