A Special Meeting of the Board of Trustees was held on Thursday, February 3, 2000, at 11:15 AM in the Village Manager’s Office at Municipal Building, Croton on Hudson, NY.
PRESENT-Village Board: Deputy Mayor Grant
Absent: Mayor Elliott and Trustee Watkins
Village Manager Herbek provided some background concerning the Village’s application for a State Grant-In-Aid for a Municipal Waste Reduction and/or Recycling Project. Specifically, the grant is for $65,000 to pay part of the cost of a rear-loading recycling vehicle. The Village Manager explained that one of the requirements of the grant is that the Village Manager be authorized and directed to provide such information as may be required and to sign the resulting contract if the application is approved by the New York State. The resolution also provides that the Village agrees to fund its portion of the cost of the Municipal Waste Reduction and/ or Recycling Project.
After discussion Trustee Daubney moved the resolution, seconded by Trustee Grant and approved by a vote of 3 in favor and 0 opposed.
