Special Meeting of Board of Trustees – July 5, 2001
A special meeting of the Board of Trustees was called for Thursday, July 5, 2001 to discuss Metro Enviro Transfer, LLC now owned and operated by Allied Waste, Inc.
Present: Mayor Elliott
Village Manager Herbek
Village Attorney Waldman
Mayor Elliott called the meeting to order at 7:45PM. A motion was made by Trustee McCarthy, seconded by Trustee Harkins, to go into executive session to meet with the Village Attorney on the basis of “attorney-client privilege” and also information regarding current or future investigations or prosecutions of a criminal offense, which would imperil effective law enforcement if disclosed.
The Village Attorney reviewed with the Board matters relating to the overages in tonnage, including those that occurred from March 22, 2000 to August 17, 2000, and the status of the Special Permit for Metro-Enviro Transfer, LLC.
No decisions were made and no actions were taken. The meeting concluded at 9:30 PM.
